What is Ecsta-She?

Based in Cairns, QLD, Australia, Ecsta-She is the love child of Velvet Eloise Eldred. Ecsta-She offers movement medicine and counselling. For women who want to dance with other women, Ecsta-She offers a sacred and healing space to restore the ecstatic feminine and create the modern goddess. For women and men who seek sex counselling, Velvet is an expressive therapist that helps lead couples to the divine sex that they seek.

Sex counselling for couples or singles is by appointment. Please make contact with Velvet Eldred via the contact page. Ecsta-She Dance is held every Wednesday night, 8 - 10 pm at the Body Mind and Breath Yoga Studio, 55 Spence St, Cairns.

I am Velvet Eldred, artist, counsellor and theatre professional. I have a:

  • Authentic Dance Training
I was born in 1966- year of the fire horse and I am a born revolutionary. I also has 5 planets in Aquarius, a ten year old son and am fiercely determined to create an intentional community where magic, innocence, co-operation and liberation are as natural as breathing deeply.

A combination of my knowing, dance practice, education and knowledge (Belly, Tibetan, African, martial arts, theatre, dance, ceremony and ritual space) meets with your way of working with your innate feminine wisdom, using your spiritual skills and tools.

When my karma meets your karma magic will happen.

Together we will explore intuitive dance and movement, in what I understand to be the tradition of the sacred dance temples of antiquity.

We will be weaving together an energetic of the divine feminine and reclaiming the right as a woman to belong to herself.

I have been exploring the dance of the sacred and ecstatic feminine over the course of life. I have gathered philosophies, practices and experiences in a creative combination to restore the ecstatic feminine lineage, the warrior priestess and temple environment.

I have worked extensively as a sexual assault counsellor to children and families and now provide sexual counselling to adult couples and singles. 

I have an intimate knowing of the dark side and am deeply acquainted with suffering. I am my own best friend and have a huge capacity to be present and alongside whatever needs to be integrated for the liberation of the human spirit.
